We woke up at 9:00 a.m. and ate breakfast at the neighborhood pastry shop. Then we rode a train to the Arc de Triomphe which is a monument commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to commemorate his war victories.
The Louvre Museum:
From there we walked directly down the Champs Ellysees towards the Louvre. The Champs Ellysees is where you can find luxury shops, theaters, and cafes.

On the walk we stopped at a pizzeria at 12:15 p.m. to eat lunch. After lunch we continued the walk through a park (Jardin des Tuileries) to the Louvre.
We reached the Louvre Museum at 2:00 p.m. and toured each exhibit. One of the more impressive artifacts was the Code of Hammurabi which is the oldest ancient code of law dating back to 1790 B.C.
Notre Dame:
After exiting the Louvre at 4:00 p.m. we walked to Notre Dame and saw part of Saturday's Mass. Then we walked to a Turkish restaurant for dinner to try their rotisserie cooked beef.

FIFA Fan Fest:
After dinner we took the subway to the Eiffel Tower to watch the World Cup 3rd place match between Germany and Uruguay with around 50,000 other soccer fans. The match was shown on a big screen provided by the city which was part of the FIFA Fan Fest held in form of the Palais de Chaillot. After the match we stayed to watch the Eiffel Tower lights for the last time and then went back to the hotel.
I’ve read some good stuff. This is really a nice and informative
