Tower of London:
At 9:00 a.m. we went to the Tower of London, which has played the role in history as a fortress, state prison, and place of exicution. In the early 1080s, William the Conqueror began to build the massive stone tower at the center of his London fortress. Through the centuries that followed, successive monarchs added to the fortifications to create complex known today.

HMS Belfast:
After leaving the Tower of London at 11:30 a.m. we ate a quick lunch at some surrounding food vendors, and then walked East on the Thames River to the HMS Belfast. As one of the most powerful large light cruisers ever built, the HMS Belfast is now the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during the Second World War. While entering the ship, we all purchased self-guided tours and navigated throughout its five decks.

London Bridge Experience:
We left the HMS Belfast at 4:00 p.m. and some of us went back to the John Dodgson House while others attended the London Bridge Experience. This event could be considered a haunted tour that also included a history lesson of the London Bridge.

That Evening:
The group that attended the London Bridge Experience arrived back at the John Dodgson House at 6:00 p.m. From there the entire group had a meeting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the thesis and capstone projects. Afterwords, everyone met individually with their grading professors to decide how much more work needs to be done on the projects to complete them by the due date. After the meetings everyone started packing for the weekend trips. There were 3 different groups of students going to different places such as Switzerland, Amsterdam, and Paris.
