We took a train at 8:00 a.m. from Edinburgh to St. Andrews, Scotland. When we arrived at 9:15 a.m. we took taxis to the St. Andrew Golf Course to attend the practice rounds of the 2010 British Open Tournament.
While we were there we walked the course, sat in the 18th hole grand stands, and bought souvenirs. At 6:30 p.m. we took a train back to Edinburgh to work on thesis projects.
