2010 Open:
We went on the 6:45 a.m. train from Edinburgh train station to St. Andrews, Scotland. When we arrived at the St. Andrews train station we took a taxi to the golf course to attend the 201o British Open Tournament. After buying tickets we bought breakfast and walked directly to the hole #10 Grand Stands. We picked our seats and were settled in by 8:30 a.m. We chose this grand stand over the others because from there we could watch 6 different holes be played at once. It also was one of the only grand stands with its back to the constant 40 mph wind.
We stayed in our seats until 5:30 p.m. and then left to follow Tiger Woods to the #18 hole. While there we finished the remaining groups finish their rounds and then took a taxi back to the train station. We took the 7:15 p.m. train back to Edinburgh where we returned at 8:00 p.m.
