Travel to Manchester:
We took a train from Edinburgh, Scotland to Manchester, England at 7:45 a.m. We arrived at 11:30 a.m. and checked into our accommodations at Lambert Hall. After unpacking we went to eat lunch at a local pub, and then we took the tram to the Manchester United football stadium for a guided tour inside the stadium.
We left the stadium at 4:30 p.m. and went back to Lambert Hall to work on thesis projects. At 7:00 p.m. we had a welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant. We finished dinner at 9:30 p.m. and went back to Lambert Hall to work on thesis all night.
