MediaCityUK:
At 8:30 a.m. we took a train to the MediaCityUK being building in Manchester. This is a city designed specifically around the media industry. It will extend to a fairly broad scope of professionals, but expect MediaCityUK’s population to include everyone from TV producers to computer game designers.
We arrived at the jobsite at 10:00 a.m. and began a meeting with one of Bovis Lend Lease's (Contractor) project executives who explained the purpose of the MediaCity. After the meeting we toured the perimeter of the jobsite and were able to ask on of the project superintendents questions along the way.
After the tour, we ate lunch at a nearby mall. At 2:30 p.m. we took a train back to Lambert Hall to work on thesis projects.
