Before leaving Interlaken at 9:00 a.m. to go back to Geneva, we all agreed to stop in Bern, Switzerland for the day. We arrived in Bern, which is the capital of Switzerland, at 10:30 a.m. and began walking the river that winds through the city. During the walk we visited the Bear Park which houses 4 of the city's mascots. Also along the river part of the group decided to take advantage of the cold water and went swimming.
Travel to Geneva:
At 4:00 p.m. we left Bern to finish the train ride to Geneva. We arrived at 5:00 p.m., checked into the Holiday Inn with air conditioning, and took a bus to the Geneva harbor for dinner. After dinner at a pizzeria, we went back to the hotel at 10:00 p.m. to catch up on our sleep.
